I have produced an A4 size children's picture book that illustrates and tells the story of a little Fox who is fed up of it being winter. It is cold and he has no friends to play with as they are in hibernation. In a huff, little Fox storms off to give up and hibernate himself. However, upon laying under a Pine tree, he is interrupted by Fairy Evergreen who explains that spring has already begun. This encourages readers to look back through the illustrations and spot out the first signs of spring that were happening all along. Realising his blessings, little Fox overcomes his sadness and finds peace in the light of the ‘golden hour’.
